SALES MANAGER FRANCE

Overview

INDICATA, the global leader in business intelligence and analytics solutions for used car operations to the automotive industry and part of the AUTOROLA Group, is seeking a Sales Manager in France with an established track record of software sales success to support our fast growth and global expansion.

This individual will be tasked with selling our proprietary Business Intelligence platform INDICATA which is marketed to the automotive industry incl. OEM’s, franchised and used vehicle dealers and fleet operators. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for managing their own sales pipeline and sales processes, forecasting sales results and negotiating opportunities to drive growth.

The Sales Manager will report in a matrix organisation to the Country Director France and Global Managing Director INDICATA. This is a full-time position based in our French office in Paris.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding for our product portfolio and the benefits INDICATA provides for businesses and their employees
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects sufficient to meet monthly/quarterly/annual quota requirements
  • Identify and qualify prospects by telephone, cold call, premise visits and networking
  • Generate new accounts and close sales opportunities using your superior presentation, management and negotiation skills
  • Develop proposals, respond to RFPs and conduct face-to-face sales presentations for prospective customers
  • Navigate through complex negotiations at the executive level
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts
  • Efficiently manage leads and opportunities through a CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Plan and implement lead generation and nurturing campaigns
  • Participate in industry events
  • Fully understand the business requirements of prospects and customers
  • Maintain third party relationships
  • Control spending within authorized levels
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings to present/assess the status of all existing pipeline of leads, opportunities as well as potential future target companies and pursuit strategies

 

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise software sales
  • Proven sales success shown by meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • An accomplished track record of selling software or BI solutions into the automotive industry
  • Must be positive-minded, team-oriented, diligent, organized, timely and detail driven
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the automotive industry
  • Proactive experience managing a sales territory in a growing business environment
  • Must be aggressive self-starter with strong communication, relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Know strength and weaknesses of key competitors and how to leverage this knowledge 
  • Experience working with channels and/or partners in bringing a solution to market
  • Ability to travel up to 80% for customer engagements and marketing events
  • Fluent in English
